Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and as a kid/teen I loved the Christopher Pike books as well as R.L. Stine's "Fear Street" series (cheesy, yes I know!) As an adult, I have very little time to read unless it's case material or research for my own novels -- but I still enjoy the classics one chapter at a time.

Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:
-
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:The Office, Alphas (unless it gets canned.. probably will), BSG, Firefly, Star Trek (all of em) Doctor Who! My fave actors would probably be all of the doctors from the Star Trek franchise except for the other doc in TNG (not Crusher.. the other one). Brent Spiner is another one of my all-time-fave tv actors..

Kevin Harms, Jul 16, 2012, 7:40PM UTCHi, just wondering what your interest in the Sierra Lamar story is? Was it assigned to you or are you following it on your own because you're interested?
Doesn't really matter; I was just curious because I'm following it intensely and I see a lot of articles about it from you.
Why my interest in the story?
I live in Morgan Hill and my daughter just graduated from Sierra's high school - Sobrato High. I live across the street from the Safeway where this bastard (yeah, I realize he's only a suspect for now) worked. He lived only a mile down the road from me. Sierra was abducted on the roads where I've been bicycling for the past 20 years so I'm very familiar with them and where they've searched for her. So the story hits VERY close to home and I can't get it out of my mind. I was riding the day after her disappearance and kept looking around hoping I'd find her alive.
I'm still hoping they won't find a body, but find her instead.
WOW, I just noticed that you're an atheist. Something else we have in common. I'm attending the atheist film festival in S.F. in August. And apologists think that atheists don't have morals or as much concern over the well-being of others as they do! What a crock. -
Eva Chaney, Jul 10, 2012, 10:18AM UTCI appreciate your coverage on Lynn- the more people who read her story and see her picture (and Nate's) the better. Continue to use your writing for this purpose- you just never know how much you might add to finding people, clues, answers.

Denise Wayne, May 15, 2012, 10:28PM UTCEnjoyed your comments about Romney, although the Hitler stuff is a little over the top. You can alienate people that way.
